AutoLeap vs Tekmetric are both cloud-based (SaaS) solutions for auto repair shop management. They enable digital vehicle inspections, repair estimate and work order management, inventory management, customer communication functions (via IM / SMS / email), analytics - to track workshop performance, workload, profitability. They both have integrations with accounting software, payment processing providers, auto-part portals. Both products are aimed at small and medium workshops, as well as multi-location business.
But AutoLeap (founded in 2019) is a Canadian service more focused on customer experience and marketing: it includes customer reminders, monitoring of reviews on Google maps, advertising campaign management. The service also has a “work board” dashboard for managing technicians, schedules, tasks. Besides integration with QuickBooks, it has own accounting/reporting tools.
Tekmetric (2015) is an American service with a more user-friendly interface, especially on mobile. It provides mobile apps for both management and technicians, where they can access inspections, auto photos/videos, customer messages.
